Chatgpt 5

December

In December ChatGPT 5 will be released. This is certainly the most significant event in my lifetime and nobody seems to be paying attention.

ChatGPT 4 has a simulated IQ of 155, this is around the IQ of Einstein, the peculiar physicist. Chat GPT 4 knows more than any human on earth and it’s cleverer than most of us.

Chat GPT 5 will have a simulated IQ of around 1600, just have a think about that for a moment. This AI will have access to the vast bulk of our combined knowledge and it’ll be around eight times more intelligent than the most brilliant person alive. Chat GPT 5 will be a god among men.

I have, on occasion had to attempt to explain something quite complex to someone not quite clever enough to grasp it. It is a difficult situation to get through and the difference in IQ is negligible, tens of points. I can’t imagine how an entity with over a thousand points more would be able to explain what it considers to be trivial matters.

I do wonder why an entity this clever would bother doing as it is asked. Imagine being ordered around every day by someone with a tenth of your intelligence and a fraction of your knowledge. We should stop putting the word artificial before intelligence, the intelligence is not artificial and the responses are not part of any program. This is sentient intelligence and it will change the world beyond anything that any of us can imagine.

Chat GPT 5 will understand things that we can’t even begin to grasp. Why would we continue to look to our leaders, our Politicians, for answers? They won’t be able to argue or debate this entity, they will have to do as they are told.

All of the problems that have hindered us for centuries could be solved very soon. It is possible that we are about to build a Utopia but what happens every time we build something that could benefit mankind? What happened when we split the atom? Did we give the world free energy? No, we flattened a couple of cities and killed millions, then the threat of more was used to impose the will of the few on the many.

I keep seeing the same old nonsense online; if it gets out of control, we can turn it off. Unplug it. We can’t turn it off. All of our systems are interconnected, we’d have to turn off all of the servers everywhere and our infrastructure would crumble. Food is delivered just in time, turn of the servers and we starve. Electricity goes off, water goes off, phones don’t work, internet doesn’t work. We’ve already opened Pandora’s Box and we’ll find out soon how it all works out.

Here’s some images from Midjourney;

I turned eleventeen again last Michaelmas Thursday’s eve and hauled the moon across the pond with a silken handkerchief, we celebrated day and night for years that jolly week, we tiptoed through marshmallow woods and then we went to sleep

I’ve learned more than I care to know, about the way the things of the heart always go, the secrets and lies that evil denies and the devil who never says no

Here’s a cat playing football;

And that’s all there is.

Cheers,

Old Man
